Karen Irvin, PhD, Director of MINNESOTA MEDIATION & COUNSELING CENTER, has a doctorate in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota. She has been providing mediation services since 1976. Her mediation experience includes a supervisory position at Hennepin County Court Services, Domestic Relations Division. Dr. Irvin has provided mediation training locally, nationally and internationally. In addition to mediation, Dr. Irvin provides parenting time expediting, custody and parenting time evaluations, parenting consulting and parenting coaching. Dr. Irvin is also adjunct faculty in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at St. Mary’s University.
Judy Sherwood, MA, MBA, is a family and divorce mediator, parenting time expeditor, parenting consultant/coach, and custody evaluator. She has a Masters degree in marriage and family therapy, mediation training from Hamline University School of Law, and certified arbitration training at Minnesota Continuing Legal Education. In addition, Judy has a Masters of Business Administration, having held senior management positions in training/development, communications and marketing.
